pokharaPokhara, the heaven of Asia is located in the centre of Kaski district, Gandaki zone and in the western region of the Nepal. Pokhara is the Second largest city of Nepal and is at altitude of 727 meter to 980 meters. Pokhara is approximately 200km west from capital city “Katmandu”. Pokhara is the most beautiful city in Nepal. There are 3 out of 10 highest peaks in the world namely Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu. It is full of natural beauties with wide range of Himalayas, historical temples, lakes, caves and surrounding of green forest.

If you make the trip from the capital city to Pokhara you will reached at 45 minutes by flight or 4 hours by bus.

Day 1:

First you have to choose where you want to stay. Most of the popular and peace lodge are available at lakeside of Pokhara area and at Begnas lake.If you start your trip at 7 o’clock from Sarangkot (the place where you can see the sunrise and whole Pokhara valley) you can view the sunrise with the organic coffee locally available at Sarangkot. Sarangkot is the point for the paragliding also. They will make your trip through paragliding from Sarangkot to Phewa Lake. You can see the wide range of the Himalayas and the image of the Himalayas on the bosom of the Phewa Lake. This will make you crazy that you will feel as like as heaven “Pokhara”. After then, you can take the launch at the traditional restaurant in lakeside. Mainly “Thakali restaurant” are considered as the high class restaurant if you want to feel the original Nepali taste. After then your trip starts for the Begnas Lake.

Day 2:

Begnas  lake is the one of the most visited and incredible place of Pokhara. It is noted that Begnas lake lies on Lekhanath Municipality. In lekhanath Municipality there are 7 lakes also known as “Garden City of Seven Lakes”. You can boat at Begnas lake and you can visit Rupa lake,Begnas Kot and so on. There is the short trip hiking from Begnas lake to Begnas Kot , from where you can see the high Himalaya range and the whole Pokhara valley.

Day 3:

You can visit Barahi temple, Vindebashini temple and you can headed towards Mahendra cave.

Barahi temple is the unique temple you can found in Nepal; it is on the middle of Phewa lake. Mahendra cave, Bat cave and Gupteshowr cave are the famous caves at Pokhara.

If you want to extend your trip you can make trip for Jomsom.It will take another 2 days. Jomsom is the base of the Himalayan range. There you can visit the Muktinath temple  which is the most Religious temple of Nepal.
