Kathmandu is religiously popular in South-Asia. Pashupatinath temple, the holiest temple of Lord Shiva of Hindu, which is located at bank of Bagmati River. Religious activities takes place whole around the year and especially popular on the day of Shivaratri.
Also, Baudanath stupa is the biggest temple of world of this type. It’s four pairs of eyes stands for keep lookout for righteous behavior and human prosperity. It was built by King Man Deva completely different than any others stupa.
Similarly, Swayambhunath is the Buddhist stupa, 2000 years old, where on the four sided base is painted with the eyes of Lord Buddha located in Kathmandu. It is also know as the “Temple of Monkey”.
